On a good, clear day you get wonderful views of Largs and the Clyde estuary.
You will see the isles of Great Cumbrae, Little Cumbrae, Arran, and the Mull of Kintyre beyond; and to the south the Ailsa Craig (‘the giant’s stepping stone to Ireland’), a granite rock from which the world’s curling stones are made.
