The football club was formed in 1889 and have played at Barrfields Park, Brisbane Road since it opened on 21 July 1930. They are currently in the West of Scotland League Premier Division. They wear gold and black striped strips. Their away strips are red and white.

Largs Colts Community Football Club

Established in 1975 it is a quality mark club for children and youths aged 6 - 17 . There are currently 9 active teams who play in very competitive Ayrshire junior league. There are teams for girls and a growing number of pre school Mini Kickers. They train and play on the pitches of Bowencraig adjacent to Largs marina (visitors should use the public car park inside the marina site and follow the path under the railway to the pitches.) Facilities include several pitches and two changing rooms.

Largs Walking Football Club

Meets in Inverclyde National Sports and Training Centre Mondays and Wednesdays 12 noon - 1pm Cost: £2 per session.
